Gassan Panorama Golf Club is located just 25 minutes north of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Located in northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is very different from the coastal resorts. It's easily accessible thanks to Chiang Mai International Airport, which is served by airlines such as Thai Airways and Singapore Airlines.
If your destination does not have a direct flight to Chiang Mai, you can simply fly to Bangkok and take a short connecting flight. Yueshan Panorama Golf Club is waiting for you, a worthwhile trip.
The Gassan Panorama has been open for gaming since 2006, but recently underwent a major renovation after being closed for nearly a decade. Reopened in 2017, the course is one of the longest in Thailand at 7,761 yards.
The most notable feature of the golf course is the large lake located in the center of the course. There is also water on the left and right sides of the golf course. While water does play a role on a few holes, that shouldn't stop you from playing at the Gassan Panorama, although you might want to make sure you have enough balls in your bag.
However, there are also many bunkers for golfers to struggle with. In addition to the length and water obstacles, Yueshan Panorama Course is not an easy golf course to master. If you want to play low, you need to play well, but it's not always easy to focus on your golf game due to the beauty of the mountains in the distance.
Interestingly, the Yueshan Panorama Golf Course does not have a par 5, but it is a very long course, so where does the distance come from? There is a par 6 hole 666 yards from the back tees, adding considerable length to the overall golf course.
The golf course has recently been refurbished to a high standard and is in excellent condition. The quality of the fairways, greens and bunkers is excellent and at Gassan Panorama you won't have to complain about ball roll.
After a round of golf, guests can visit one of the clubhouse's Thai or international restaurants. The clubhouse itself is a perfect mix of European and Arabic styles, with white and gold domes making it look more like a palace than a golf club.
In addition to the restaurant, Yueshan Panorama has locker rooms, a pro shop, and a banquet hall, but the golf course itself is the highlight of the show.
