Royal Bangkok Golf and Country Club is the closest golf course to Suvarnabhumi International Airport and is ideal for your final round. One of the most picturesque golf courses in Bangkok, taking full advantage of the natural topography, strolling among numerous water features, mature trees and colorful flora.



With water all around, tee accuracy is a must, and when you find the middle of the fairways, you don't usually find flat fairways as they are full of bumps and dips, making it a challenge to get close to graded greens. The par 3 holes are particularly memorable because they are long, two of them are over 200 yards from the back tee, and the taller obstacles require a driver to reach the 17th hole!

Tough par 4 with a narrow green entry between two bunkers, a challenging start to your round. The second is the second easiest on the course, provided you can avoid the water to the left and choose the right club for your approach, as the greens have good bunkers. To get to the green on hole three, you have to hit the ball over water hazards and avoid sand bunkers to get onto the putting face. Hole 5 is a very long par 5 hole rated as the hardest on the course - straight but with water and bunkers to the left and a huge bunker protecting the green. Hole 7 is another long par 3 with a waterway and a bunker ring protecting the right side of the green. Hole 8 is another very difficult par 5 with water running down the left side and a large bunker protecting the right side of the fairway - very difficult approach with water in front of the green and a large beach bunker next to it. The front nine is difficult to finish, with water all the way around, the green surrounded by bunkers, and water eroding from the left.



The back nine opens with four pretty straightforward holes and then it’s on to the 14th which  is one of the more challenging par 4’s and is tough to reach in regulation and the next hole which is a long par 5 with water running the entire length of the narrow fairway. Hole 16 is also not easy but remembered by most for its bunker in the shape of Mickey Mouse.  We mentioned the 17th above – huge carry over water and bunkers all around the green!  A difficult par 4 to finish with water and bunkers along the right and lots of bunkers around the green.
The maintenance is usually excellent and the greens true and fast and the large clubhouse offers all of the facilities you expect of this excellent course.
