Black Mountain Golf Club Course Description
Black Mountain Golf Club has courses specially designed for professional golfers, but amateurs can also play here. The black mountains, natural streams and silhouettes carved by nature are breathtaking; a beautiful area for a very challenging game of golf. It's definitely on our list of the Best Golf Courses in Asia.

The fairways encourage short tee shots, but if you're overly cautious, be aware of the blinds and doglegs. There are large greens protected by water and some beautifully designed bunkers.

Starting your round at Black Mountain Golf Club is pretty tough, you usually play upwind, but then go downhill to a large, undulating green. The next hole is a classic risk-reward par 5, and you might be tempted to double the green, but it's protected by a rocky stream. The 3rd hole is a very easy par 3 but the route to the 4th green is fraught with hazards as you try to access the island green. A par 4.5 uphill isn't too bad, as long as you avoid fairway bunkers and remember to pack extra clubs for your approach. The tee shot on hole 6 is fairly easy, but then you have to decide whether to cross the water to the green or play it safe, which leaves an awkward shot on the sloping green. The tee shot at 7 is hard as you have to go across a lake - you could take the safer left path, but that leaves a long shot into the green. Hole 8 is a beautiful and challenging par 3 with a long, hilly green and a large bunker to the left. The front nine ends in a tough par 4 with difficult access to the green, protected by water and sand on one side and a dip on the other.

At Black Mountain Golf Club, your back nine starts on the dogleg par 4 and you have to decide how far to tee off -- a good chance for birdie if you're in the right position. The 11th hole is a wonderful yet intimidating par 3 on the island green - there's no room for error here. The shot at the 12th hole is longer than it looks, and you'll need to use an extra club on your approach to avoid the deep bunkers that protect the green. The 13th is one of the best birdie chances on the course, provided you can avoid the water hazard about 60 yards from the green. The 14th hole is a very challenging par 3 that goes across a large lake to a green protected by a large bunker. The 15th hole is a potential map breaker with a creek running to the left - the second shot is particularly challenging. The 16th is a short dogleg par 4 and the 17th is another classic risk and reward hole where long hitters can head to the green, but it requires a long crossing of the creek. A firm finish hole with deep bunkers around the green, you'll be happy to play par.

The clubhouse is fantastic and you can enjoy the amazing views of the course while savoring beautifully cooked and prepared food. There is a specialty store with a wide variety of products. Green fees are higher than at other clubs but rightfully so as the Montenegro experience will be remembered for a long time. If you want to stay here, you can find more information here.
