Blue Sapphire Golf and Resort is a 36-hole golf course interestingly located in an area that used to be a sapphire mine, hence the name. The land left by the mine could easily accommodate a large football field and has proven to be the perfect location for a golf course.





A distinctive feature of Blue Sapphire Golf and Resort is that both courses are surrounded by lakes. In addition to water, the course designers have added an array of palm trees and native flora and fauna, adding to the beauty of each hole.

The two 18-hole golf courses are called Canyon and Ocean. With a choice of five tee positions on each hole on both courses, golfers of all levels will feel right at home. Each course is divided into two nine-hole sections, and the Canyon Course includes Sapphire and Yellow Sapphire. Water plays a role on both sets of nine holes, and the par-3s in particular are known for their water hazards, as they can be both downhill and over water.

As the name suggests, the Ocean Course also has plenty of water, and the front nine of the Pink Sapphire course offers some of the Sapphire's most challenging holes, despite being the shortest nine at the golf club. The second set of nine holes on the Ocean Course is reminiscent of the land's former use as a quarry, with numerous dogleg holes set around the quarry walls. This is perhaps the most challenging nine holes on the course, with tight landings and high greens.





Blue Sapphire Golf and Resort is a well maintained golf course with good fairways and beautiful views of the surrounding jungle and hills. Lodging is either at the main resort or in boat-themed lodging around the course. There is a driving range, a seminar center and a simple restaurant for the best facilities.
