Like many golf courses in the region, Blue Star Golf Course is built around lakes and hills left over from mining. It is the sister course of the Sapphire course, not far from the Grand Prix course, and has a similar design.

This is a very difficult course that will test even the best golfer, and many holes feature some difficult and sometimes deep bunkers. The landing area is also narrow, as is the access to some greens.

The hole of choice here is hole 6, a long par 4 with a green protected by five large green bunkers. You'll be happy to bogey here.

It's not a busy course and is frequented by locals so service is a bit slow and the caddies are poorly trained, but it's gre4ta worth and a real golf challenge.
