With a 27-hole layout, Greenwood Golf Club Pattaya is one of the most scenic golf courses in Pattaya with beautiful scenery. The course offers a satisfying challenge for all golfers, with a relatively fluffy layout made all the more interesting by artificial elevation changes. Designed by multiple Open champion Peter Thomson, it's no surprise that he uses sand rather than water to protect the course, and many of the bunkers are deep.



Greenwood Golf Club is over 20 years old so the trees and plants have matured to provide a very natural backdrop to the course, framed by the surrounding mountains.

On course A, hole 8 is a classic dogleg hole with a wide fairway, but as you approach the green the hole narrows and a creek crosses the fairway in front of the green making you wonder if hitting the green should be Choose a layout.

On course B we opted for the par 5 4 which is quite long at 550 yards but the lack of obstructions on the tee means you can try and the longer hitters have a chance of hitting two. Most problems start as you approach well-protected greens, which means good position is critical to your approach.

The last hole on course c offers a suitable climax and if you make a par you should be happy as it's long and has a lot of sand and water to hinder your progress.

The refurbished clubhouse has modern changing rooms and an excellent restaurant serving good food and cold beer.
