Khao Yai golf courses

Khao Yai Country Club

Khao Yai Golf Club is a great course that has fallen into disrepair and should therefore be avoided for now. Khao Yai Golf Club, one of three Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses under the Mission Hills banner, is located just outside the national park and is an interesting challenge with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

The sloping hills and numerous bunkers can test your accuracy, and the 10th and 11th holes that make full use of the valley where the course is located can have two of the best back-to-back holes in the world show area. It's best to avoid the large garbage bunkers (a Nicklaus signature) scattered around the course, and generally you'll need to be fairly accurate to play well. Unfortunately, the square changed hands too many times, causing this once famous square to fall from its original perch.

An ongoing maintenance program has not yet been able to fix the course's volatile condition, and the on-site resort appears to be in a state of permanent construction. If you really want to play, it's best to check the condition of the course in time, but with all of that in mind, it's a good time to look at alternatives.
