Mida Golf Club
Located in the heart of the Kanchanaburi region of Thailand, Mida Golf Club is easily accessible from a number of destinations. For those new to Mida Golf Club, this may be because it changed its name in 2010 and was previously known as Lion Hills Golf & Country Club. However, the company that originally owned it sold the golf clubs and resorts surrounding the area. Fortunately, Mida Golf Club works hard to ensure the course continues to grow and develop, with many activities for all the family.

The par 72 course covers 800 hectares and, like many courses in the Kanchanaburi area, offers fantastic views. Especially the mountains and trees are the distinctive features of Mida Golf Club, and the course is surrounded by pine trees. Most of the holes on the course are fairly flat with little undulation. The same goes for the greens, which are rewarded for being able to put the ball straight.
The first hole is a par 3 played in a natural water hazard in the river and players must cross a drawbridge to reach the green. The river does not play a major role on the rest of the course, but flows alongside several other holes and is particularly noticeable on holes 13, 14 and 15.
Good results can be achieved at Mida Golf Club, which may not be the biggest challenge for experienced and good golfers. That being said, this is a great place to play for those who need to work hard on straight golf as this provides the greatest reward on this golf course.
Mida Golf Club is a great place for families, with swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball courts, billiard room and restaurant on site. The hotel is not the most luxurious hotel in the area, but it offers all the facilities a tourist would need. In terms of golf course facilities, there are driving ranges, chipping greens and putting greens. The clubhouse is small compared to other clubs in Thailand but similar to a hotel it has all the facilities you would expect.

Playing at Mida Golf Club is a pleasure most of the year as it is a beautiful but not very challenging course. However, between December and February classes can be packed with large crowds, which may put some people off, but these dates are easy to avoid.
