Milford Golf Club
Hua Hin Milford Golf Club is located on the hill, not far from the center of Hua Hin, with excellent sea views. The course was originally designed by renowned golf course architect Robert MacFarlane. Unfortunately the club lacks investment and the condition of the course is not up to the standard of other golf courses in Hua Hin. It's a shame the location and layout are great, this has the potential to be one of the best golf courses in Thailand. The course is currently rented out by a Korean operator, the course is poorly maintained and the overall operation is terrible.

Parts of the course have a unique feel due to the proximity to the ocean, and due to the nature of the land, elevations vary widely and there are many or uneven courses.
The course is divided into two parts, offering different challenges and terrain. One side of the course meanders through rolling hills, you are surrounded by mountains, and the other side crosses the top of the hills for stunning ocean views.
The choice of holes is the 15th hole, a par 4 and a very large hole, offering a variety of options, especially the tee, with the water on the left and the mountainside on the right, very challenging. Most players will hit the ball not too far from the water and hang from there, but swamp hitters may try to get to the green, but that requires a hard hit.
It's not an easy course, with many seasoned locals struggling to reach their hurdles. The greens are not in great shape but are usually pretty fast and you need to hit the right side of the pin as some putts just won't go downhill.
The general facilities of the clubhouse are acceptable and the restaurant has a nice view of the course.
