Pinehurst Golf and Country Club used to be one of the best golf courses in Bangkok, but not up to the standards of some of the newer courses. Night golf is very popular and the course can get very busy on weekends. The greens tend to be a bit unpredictable and slow, and the caddies are not as attentive as some other golf courses in Thailand.



Pinehurst Golf Club is conveniently located within easy reach of Don Mueang Airport and approximately 45 minutes from the city centre. It's still popular with golfers in Bangkok, but the course and facilities look a bit dated and could use some modernization and refurbishment.

There are three different 9s: The North Course, also known as the Lake Course, is reminiscent of many legendary American courses, as the name suggests, you will encounter a lot of water, once the 2nd hole is a short par -3 face a on the water Hit the tee to a small green. The water is to the left of the 3rd fairway, if you finish the first 9 holes you will have to tee off through the water on the 4th hole and then take a break the next couple of holes before more water hazards come into play .
The Forest or Western Course is the most difficult course and has some unusual design features, including a raised tee that resembles the bay at Driving Range 8, and it also has one of the largest greens in Bangkok. There are also many water hazards on the course - especially the tees.



Greenfield Nine or South Course is also the easiest of the three golf courses at Pinehurst Golf Club, with flat fairways and little water except for a hole or two.

The course is one of the less expensive ones and is very popular so there is some wear and tear from time to time, but the greens tend to be slow.

You can also play evening golf at Pinehurst Golf Club and if you want to show off you can always hire a Rolls Royce VIP golf cart.

Pinehurst Golf Club has a huge clubhouse overlooking the golf course, and the Japanese and Korean food is particularly good.
