One of the very popular golf courses in the St Andrews 2000 Series, Pattaya Rayong Green Valley Country Club was designed by Peter Thomson to cater for golfers of all levels. This attractive and beautifully designed course is a pleasure.



The designers took full advantage of the raw shape of the land, forcing you to maneuver around boulders and ledges and deal with uneven terrain. They've also incorporated plenty of artificial hazards in the form of fairway bunkers, strategically positioned to catch unpredictable tee shots, plenty of water and some tricky two-tiered greens.

You may be somewhat downcast after the opening hole as its one of the most difficult with a long carry over water from the tee followed by a long uphill approach to a smallish green.  However do not despair as the course becomes a little easier after that providing you do not let the wonderful views distract you from your shot making.
