Royal Gems Golf City is an unusual and unique replica golf course not far from central Bangkok, featuring some of the most famous holes in the world on the front nine and inspired by the Augusta Nationals - Champions of Champions on the back nine Home. Dreaming about playing the road hole at St. Andrews or round Amen Corner is fun - not quite as rosy as reality, but few of us get the chance to visit Augusta National to play. Definitely one of the best golf courses in Thailand and certainly our pick of the best in Bangkok.



The holes at Royal Gems Golf City are not exact replicas, they are inspired by the famous course and incorporate some of the unique features of the original holes. The course is not too long so all golfers can enjoy it. If you let your imagination run wild, you can imagine playing with the pros on the pristine holes.

On the front nine, experience the bench bunkers on the 3rd and 4th holes of Oakmont Country Club, the 2nd hole is inspired by the Jack Nicklaus-designed Bay Hill Club par-5 sixth hole, like a banana, Side watering hazard side to green. Hole 3 is a par 3 based on the Sawgrass Island green at No. 17 -- the site of The Players Championship and some drama. You'll also experience the Road Hole in St Andrews - the home of golf, Troon's mark and number 18 in Belfrey.



Access to the back nine gives you the opportunity to play the final nine at Augusta National and experience the drama of Amen Point for yourself. They've planted hundreds of trees that haven't matured yet, so you'll need to use your imagination, but once they grow to their true height, it will look a lot more like Augusta.
