Siam Country Club Rolling Hills

Siam Country is well known to those who regularly play golf in Thailand. It is also highly regarded abroad and has received rave reviews for many years. There are three courses that can be played at Siam Country Club, but that has changed recently with the development of a fourth course.

Siam Country Club Rolling Hills is the newest addition to the golf club and is just 2 kilometers from the Waterside Course. Rolling Hills Course was designed by Brian Curley and Siam Motors Group invested heavily in the golf course.

The 18-hole, par 72 course stretches to 7,259 yards from the back tees, with the front nine mostly flat. The front nine has a very open feel, with small trees or bushes surrounding the golf course. Hole 5 is one of the most memorable as it has two greens with golf clubs that can be switched between, offering a different challenge each day.

The front nine at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills is full of risk/reward holes, with a chance for birdie but potentially pricey.

The back nine offers a contrasting challenge where you can begin to appreciate the work that goes into designing a golf course. Many golf courses choose to move dirt to create hills around holes, but Rolling Hills is a bit different because dirt is placed under the course to create elevation changes.

This is also done to provide a good place for spectators, and it is expected that Siam Country Club will bid to host LPGA events at this golf course in the future.

Holes 15, 16 and 17 rank as the three best holes at Rolling Hills. Several holes have different difficulty levels and two fairways to choose from, giving players choice and making club choice crucial. The views from this part of the golf course are amazing when you get to the highest point.

However, the 15th hole is arguably the most spectacular thanks to a series of bunkers in front of the green. The closer to the green, the deeper the bunker, and many golfers may choose to aim to the right, where there is a safe refuge.

Additional amenities include a clubhouse, locker rooms and pro shop with golf course views from every room.

Siam Country Club Rolling Hills is sure to thrive and become a very popular venue in 2019 and beyond. Don't waste time, book your tour today to make sure you don't miss a thing.
